Panasonic left the US television market for about a decade and returned in September 2024 through a global partnership with Amazon, shipping Fire TV built in on the Z95A and Z85A OLEDs and the W95A Mini-LED. The 2025 range added the Z95B, W95B and the entry W70B. European Panasonic sets still run My Home Screen, which the US range does not.

For 2026 Panasonic is reported to be splitting by tier — Fire TV on some Mini-LED models, Google TV on others, and TiVo OS on budget sets. Check the specific model rather than assuming the brand answer.
Reaching the menu with no remote
Panasonic does not document a precise button location the way Samsung and LG do — the controls sit on the rear or the edge and cover power, menu, channel and volume. Panasonic’s own support treats the Fire TV app and HDMI-CEC as the real answers for anything beyond that.
Panasonic’s support pages point at the Fire TV app on the same Wi-Fi, HDMI-CEC passthrough from another remote, or an Alexa device by voice. The edge buttons handle power and input only.
Known Panasonic failure mode
Panasonic documents this one directly, which is unusual and worth trusting. Sets are shipped with a Fire TV remote that can arrive unpaired, and the sensor sits at the bottom-front of the panel where a soundbar or shelf edge can block it.
What helps: Panasonic’s documented reset is holding the left directional button together with Back and Menu for about twelve seconds. Stay within roughly ten feet, clear anything blocking the bottom-front sensor, and fit fresh batteries before retrying.
