Element Electronics assembles televisions in Winnsboro, South Carolina, and has shipped them with two different smart platforms over the years: the current Roku TV line and an earlier Amazon Fire TV Edition line. They are controlled by completely different protocols, so the series on the model plate — not the badge on the bezel — decides which app can reach your set.

The suffix is the reliable test: an "R" at the end of an E4AA/E4FAA model means Roku TV; EL4KAMZ models are Fire TV Edition. Both are reachable from a phone — but through different connection paths, and a standard (non-smart) Element panel is reachable through neither.
Reaching the menu with no remote
The E4AA and E4FAA Roku models follow the Roku convention — one button under the set: short press for power or the input list, long press to power off. The EL4KAMZ Fire TV sets carry a small button row on the underside, and the standard panels use a plain row on the rear.
On a Roku-series Element the network menu needs a remote or a phone, as on any Roku TV; Ethernet gets you through setup without either. On an EL4KAMZ set the Fire TV interface needs a paired input to reach Settings → Network. A standard Element panel has no network menu at all.
Known Element failure mode
This is the two-platform badge at work, not a bug. A Roku-only tool will never discover an EL4KAMZ Fire TV Edition set, and a Fire TV-only tool will never see an E4AA Roku model. Check the model plate suffix first — the app has to match the platform, not the brand.
