JVCKENWOOD owns the JVC name but does not build the JVC televisions sold in the United States. That licence sits with Shenzhen MTC, which manufactures, distributes and warranties them, with ESI Enterprises as the designated distributor and service provider. The LT- prefix is the quickest check you can run: if your model plate reads LT- followed by a screen size, you own a Roku TV and every Roku-compatible tool applies to it.
Reaching the menu with no remote
MTC follows the Roku TV pattern: one button, on the underside of the panel or the rear near the ports. With the set off a short press powers it on; with the set on, a short press brings up the Input List and a long press powers it down.
No button path reaches the network menu — that is a Roku platform limit, not a JVC one. Ethernet or a USB keyboard gets you through first-time setup on an LT- model with no working remote.
Known JVC failure mode
This is the complaint that dominates JVC Roku TV repair threads. Repair-forum consensus puts most cases on the backlight or the power/T-Con board rather than anything in the software — meaning no app, remote or reset will bring the picture back. What helps: Run the flashlight test: with the TV on and the room dark, shine a light close to the screen at an angle. A faint image means the panel is receiving video and the backlight has failed — a hardware repair. No image at all points elsewhere, so reseat the HDMI cable and power-cycle for sixty seconds first.
